I have been advised that it can take about 3 years. This sounds excessive especially if your skills are in demand.
Any Ideas?? as I don't think I want to wait this long.

Retraining as a Paramedic in OZ ??

My hubby is considering retraining as a Paramedic.
Is it more advisable to do this in the UK or could it be done at a Univeristy in OZ? and would there be fees to be paid?

Age deadline for emmigrating.

I am 36 and my hubby is 44. I am a social worker but am hoping to retrain as a nurse which would still mean I would be under 45years when came to apply.

Advice on areas to live in OZ

We are thinking of emmigrating to OZ.
Requirements:-

Not 'too' hot
Open areas where our dogs can be let off and not overcrowded
Prefer to live in a more rural/ open area but then not too far to...

Considering Emmigrating to OZ, however have not been over to have a look yet. Will want to be on the 'East Coast'.

Thanks you for advice so far.
Like I say if it wasn't to be for my dogs I would not consider emmigrating. My dogs come first, there is no way I would leave them behind 'whatever the cost'.
