Well I emailed the guy I'd been dealing with for the past couple of days to see why he never called me back and (I emailed from work so can't quote the exact response) apparently at Excess Baggage...

I'd also been thinking that maybe it'd be easier on everyone involved if the people working there spoke English as their first language but hey, probably not knowing my luck :p

Don't keep your hopes up for getting one.

I never got a receipt or acknowledgement - at least you know they have it and are working on it if it shows on the CIC website.

Just got off the phone with my friend there now and everything went according to plan! :thumbsup:

He queued up outside for 15 minutes and then it took him 30 minutes to get through...
