Thought it would be fun to take a straw poll and find out who lives where.
If you're in Canada, please click on the province in which you currently live.
If you're on your way to Canada and have chosen your destination, please click on the relevant province.
Poll will be open for 7 days.
Please be nice. The reasons that we chose our destination provinces seemed valid to us at the time.

I am wondering on what it would take for me to change my destination from Toronto, ON to Charlotte Town, PE..... is there like any paper work that needs to be done ahead of my arrival in Canada or I just state my intention to the officer at the port of entry?!
We are not entering under the PNP and our destination as per our application is Toronto.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
FK

We have been in NS for 18 months now and really love living here.
Felt pretty much at home from the day we landed dispite the fact we had only previously been in NS for 5 days on an interview/reccie and our kids (then 12 and 16) had never set foot on NS soil (only Ontario).
No great culture shock especially since we moved from Scotland but biggest surprise is that not one of us has been home-sick yet. People here are the friendlist we have ever met.

Been in small town Ontario for the last 30 years after trying Montreal and Toronto. Like the laid back lifestyle, affordable housing and easy access to picnic, golf, cottages etc. Belleville and Kingston not too far away and Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa 2/12 - 3 hr train ride for a big city fix.
