Where abouts are you going to be living in Hamilton?

Congrats!
This thread got me wondering though - I'm flying from Gatwick to Winnipeg on the 28th. Anyone else from these boards on that flight?

Try Mark Debryun-Smith on www.hamiltonhomes.ca. He is a great man who really helped us out a lot and concentrates on good homes in good neighbourhoods (which is important). He is will listen to what you want from a house and show some alternatives. He is not pushy but a pleasure to have bought a house from. Tell him Colin and Matt recommended him.

Thanks for the info, it's always nice to have someones advice and recommendation. We have recently come across their website when we were looking at some houses that interested us in Westdale on MLS.
We found that they had some interesting info about the area which is very important as you said.
Did you buy your house in Westdale ?
When we contact him, we will be sure to mention you.
Good luck on your journey, I hope things go smoothly for you and the cat.

Thanks Silverkat,
Yes we did buy in Westdale and we are very happy we did. It is a very nice part of Hamilton. Our cat is now sleeping in his pet carrier at nights with the door open so i am hoping he will feel safe on the flight (2 weeks today).
Good Luck, any questions let me know

Good idea with the pet carrier, that way he'll know the box and have his odour in it.
We have'nt bought our boxes yet, we have 2 cats and we are not sure with which airline company we will be flying with. Air Canada seems to accept 2 cats per box (still double price !) which will help their stress.
You can PM me when you are settled, tell me how it went.
I'd like to hear from you from the other end.

I talked to Air Canada and they said £125 but Zoom with Ladyhaye quoted us £558 so when we added the flight prices together we decided Air canada was much better value overall.
