Funny isn't it, I would have thought they just have a policy. We just told them we were going travelling - I didn't mention the emigration word, not sure if that had any effect.

Like some of the people above - we are with Northern Rock, we had a choice of consent to let for 1 year - £100 or consent to let indefinitely - £250.

We did the indefinite option - and changed to...

We were in the same position - our house was up for sale for 6 months before we moved out here with no interest so we put it up for rent. Once we got some tenants we had to take it off the market...

We used Ryslip to ship 2 cats - I found them very good.

They were cheaper than the other companies I got quotes from but I also found them better to deal with. They were very patient answering...

Yes, even the stuff you think is rubbish - bring it!
Also, if you are bringing beds over and have lots of UK bedding, bring spare UK duvets with you. Everything is a different size over here.
