You could Try Loretto Kirribilli but heavily oversubscribed or Mont Sant Angelo around the corner also excellent and might be easier to get into. Both are on the N Shore but there are laods to choose...

thanks Caroline this is very helpful. We don't want to live in Manly for the reasons you say, we will have a better idea after our visit in Feb how realisitc the commute is.

We applied to Loreto but no chance as it is so massively oversubscribed I dont even think she would get in as a teenager.
