I'm an at-home mom as well, although with all the errands, playdates etc. I'm not often "at home."

What kind of activities can you do with young kids? We are moving to Sydney and I have two girls: 7 years old (which will be going to school) and 1 1/2 years old. Do you ever meet up for coffee and playdates with people in the same area? Is childcare any good? Thanks. Merci.

Childcare just depends on the centre, some are good, some are bad, some are ok. Look around a few try www.bubhub.com.au and ask for recommendations and trust your instincts
