Not 100 % sure why you ask , But will try and answer . My daughter has just spent almost a week in hospital as they thought her appendix was grumbling which in fact turned out to be her...

Like you i feel full of fear having strangers living in my house but will look into things , Im sure one way or another any money will be subject to tax albeit British or Canadian .
