If you want to get permanent visa through teaching, you might find it difficult if you have only done your probationary year. Got my 175 last Aug and I needed 4 out of the last 5 years in full time...

we are in exactly the same situation. i think its the extremes of going from sheer joy and disbelief at getting the visa and then the reality of not being able to book your flights straight away. ...
