Hello,

Thanks for the quick reply. The 5 Years that we've had the visa have just flown by and we just aren't in a position to leave yet.

I take it that when you re-applied for the PR that you got it...

Might have to try this with husband, we've had our visa's for nearly 2 1/2yrs.

No we didn't, the Medical was done 3days before we even sent the application in. The doctors have to send the medical straight to Australia House so it reach them before the application.

It was really quick, Medicals done last Tuesday and sent straight to London, our application was sent in on Friday and we got an email yesterday (Wednesday) saying that the visa has been granted.

I'd heard that you pay tax on any monies left after your mortgage had been paid ie. Rent £ 900 Mort £ 700 pay tax on £ 200. Don't know if this is correct. Maybe I should talk to a financial adviser.

We travelled to OZ with Meg when she was 6months :eek: and again when she was just over 2yrs. To be totally honest she travelled best when she was 2.
