Why not try www.aussiehome.com.au/ I've used it for Perth and its very good, not tried the Melbourne section though. Worth a look

Have a look at www.examiner.com.au which is the local paper for Launceston. Theres a link there for property in Tas that might be useful.

No, I'm on the Gold Coast, but know tassy quite well. used to live there years ago.

It's a bit of a long story, so will keep it brief, I was born and bred there, however grew up near Byron Bay in NSW, moved back to Tassy in 1991 and in 1992 went over to UK where I spent the next 13 years. When I came back to Oz in 2005 didnt' really fancy moving back to tassy again, mainly because all my family had moved up to the Gold Coast, so that's where we've ended up. Quite honestly though, and this is just my personal opinion, I don't think I could live there again. don't get me wrong, its a beautiful place, but a little on the quiet side for me. 5 of my nieces and nephews grew up there, and 3 of them were out of there as soon as they were old enough, all now living on the Gold Coast, and the other 2 (in their early twentys), have also left and are now in Melbourne.

Are you in Tassy yourself or thinking of moving there?
