Couldn't agree more, I think the problem is the more "safe" we make things the less people think about the dangers because they've not seen them before they've been removed and they expect someone to...

Sounds more like it to me :), I remember splitting my head open with a hammer, treading on nails we'd just hammererd into wood, falling out of trees barbed wire fences all the things they're not...

but they've introduced a nice new system where the management now have targets to find people doing things wrong, they have the option to spot people doing things right as well but...

here in the UK we had a guy at work reported for using a 110 transformer because it was plugged into the mains :rofl:

We took ours down in person too, missed our slot as little un needed the loo as they doo :) still didnt have long to wait and we got them to stamp all our evidence photocopies so we could take all...

Thanks for the reply, I think I've got answers for most of the questions but you never know, I think we'll only get WTR anyway as I need to be registered to do my job, shame as it puts time...

No you dont need a registration number, you can't get full registration without passing the exams in New Zealand, the best you'll get is a letter offering a provisional licence, Immigration accepted...

You'll need to get all your qualifications assessed and a letter stating they'll let you apply for a licence from here

You'll need leter from the EWRB stating that they will issue you a provisional licence, to get this letter you'll need to supply them with your qualifications and work experience and a reference...

Were not sure yet, original plan was to spend a few weeks touring, work "hot spots" for me seem to be new plymouth and whangarei, it's somewhere to start.
