I have never found this to be the case, they are more likely to be concerned about the amount of time left on your visa rather the fact that it is a 457.

If you have a four year visa then very few...

In this case they have said 'we're happy to sponsor you as long as you complete all the necessary forms' - by that they are referring to the company's application forms for them to be a sponsor. They...

Does anyone have any experience on how long it can take for an employer to apply for and get a reponse to an application to be able to sponsor employees?

Yes we did, that was always the plan. We said that after we'd been here for 2 years that we'd apply for permanent residency and eventually citizenship.

Unfortunately my FIL going from perfect...

We got special landlords insurance to cover those contents that can't be removed (kitchen units, bath/shower etc).

Our agent has looked after all checks for us - request an info pack from a local...

If you are over here then agencies seem to able to find short-term appointments for UK teachers quite easily. It would seem that from doing that you get the exposure you need to more permanent posts...
