With regard timeline's. Our child application was lodged 19/3/12 and just got visa on 21/9/12 -- so 6 months which is what we were told once we had the medical complete. We applied through London...

The problem lies with the x-ray part of the medical. Surely pregnant women can't have chest x-ray's.

For those of you interested. This programme is being repeated on BBC 1 on Saturday morning 16th Feb at 2.05 am. The timing isn't great so you might need to Sky + it or tape it.

Just out of interest, what would happen if a couple were granted a PR visa and then the child was born before actually moving to Australia? Would you have to apply for PR for the new born?

Well i'm speaking from a man's point of view. I hear all the time that Aussie fashion is old style and not as good as UK or Europe but as people have said I think clothes shopping is great out there....

BBC 2 are showing the programme Ten Pound Poms tonight (Sat) at 20.20 People on BE have mentioned this programme before. It tells how people in the 50's and 60's got on when they made the move...

Fiance or de facto visa

Hi. Was looking through some posts but can't really find my answer so hoping someone can help me.

Personally I wouldn't take the chance by using them.
Passports are really important documents that you really need to take care of.
I realise it was an accident but I would definitely look to...
