Thanks everyone for your input! Yeah, it's all pretty much what we thought. We did contact a Mortgage Broker earlier in the year and she basically said it all depends on who you do your mortgage...

Hi, gotoronto! I landed on May 24th and received my PR card on Monday (June 30th). Don't worry, you should receive it by next week; it seems to take about 5 weeks to come through!! :thumbsup:

Tell me about it! Montreal drivers are INSANE! I get nervous just sitting in the passenger seat some times because people fly by and don't indicate and don't think twice about cutting you off then...
