You can call the UK for 8 cents for unlimited time using pennytel (http://www.pennytel.com/au/index.jsp) you can also get a landline number (called a DID) for $5 a year if you only have a voip phone...

With Naked DSL from iiNet you still need a physical line to your property but you wouldn't have a dial tone, you would use VOIP for your telephone calls.

Books and DVD's are not worth the postage but remember you can import goods up to about $1000 which is much better than the UK's £28 if I remember correctly.

Stick the DVD's without the packaging...

I found this strange also but everywhere seems to be urban sprawl there are parks in most suburbs but no space between any suburb. All the newer areas have small blocks with large houses hence not...
