I go to Sharon at The Salon, they have a shop in Clarkson and one in Merriwa too. She does a fantastic job and it's reasonable too and I'm very fussy!

Thanks for the replies, apparently both events are cancelled this year, Mindarie due to funds and Gloucester Park due to problems with under-age drinking last year :-(

Fireworks in Perth- New Years Eve

Does anyone know if there are fireworks on in the city or NOR in Perth tomorrow night? Can't find anything apart from Mandurah!

There are at least two indoor activity centre type places to keep the kids amused, Go Bananas and Neverland, both in Winton Road!

It was what the ATO allows you to do for any property (apparently!), whether that property is based in the UK or Australia. My accountant mentioned it to me when it was tax return time but I didn't...

Apparently you can do this for UK properties, according to my accountant. Just wondered if anyone in the UK had done this?

Hope Abba mania was great, I heard about it and meant to get tickets! It was the Poms in Perth meet last night, it was good and got to meet some nice new people! Everyone is so friendly!

We were there and managed to find some other people who had turned up for the meet, all of whom were a lovely bunch. There seemed to be quite a few people wandering around eyeing up one larger group...

We leave for Perth three weeks today, yikes! We are 33 and 34 with a little baby, Sophia in tow- she's only 7 months! Would love to meet up when we get there as we know nobody!
