I know when I rang BUPA it was a few hundred for the chest x ray and blood tests had to be done in a designated surgery. Don't know where in Wales you are but I'm in Cardiff.

Everywhere is worth visiting. Auckland zoo fab if you follow it on TV, Rotorua I agree is smelly but weird to see the geysers and a must, Queenstown is sport heaven, Akaroa or Kaikoura for dolphin...
