I understand what you are saying but I genuinly think we'll be better off trying to make the difference here knowing all the variables by downsizing and buying cheaper to renovate to cash in a bit...

Thanks for the reply, I thought it was a long shot. When you say it'll be approx 4 years are you including the waiting of the medicals in that as well as the living in the country 2 out of the 5...

AOR received Sept 2007 - still heard nothing.
We've got no family over there to contact or to chat with.

After checking the the revised waiting times on the CIC website it shows a waing period, for PR, of 3 to 3 1/2 years as oppose the 3 1/2 to 4 years as indicated on my receipt which i got in Sept...

Question Payment of Fees

I've now completed the 'Simplified Application Form' and have $1250 Canadian Dollars to pay. Am i correct in thinking that i need to go to my own bank and ask them to do me a bankers draft for $1250...
