my OH got offered a job with a 457 with a salary of $100k plus relocation costs. We went back to them and said (in a nice way) we needed more.

Kempinski or Le Meridian. I've stayed in both of these in Budapest - Kempinski being the better of the 2.

The Marriot apartments are also good value and closer to the river than the above 2.

After reading all 3 of them one after another I too got a bit bored with parts of them. Personally I don't think they live up to the hype. Good books but not great books IMHO.
