Thanks Red_V_Roger. This is all very helpful as I'm not aware what large (e.g. Kelloggs) companies are in Sydney. The more, the merrier! :)
Will be in contact today.

Re: Any opinion on Toyota - Aurion Presara?

Pleasure.
Even though I preferred the Accord, (except for tan interior when specced in black, bleugh!!), there was a big temptation to have a loan at 2.9% and my savings still earning 6.5% than pay...

Re: Any opinion on Toyota - Aurion Presara?

Looked at both recently. Accord is a much nicer looking car and better quality of interior furnishings IMO.
Aurion drove well, much quieter, smoother and more comfortable than it's sibling the...

Re: Mr Cro Callin Mr Cro, How's the exchange rate for yeh?

I hope it works out for you MrCro. :)
I'd worked out the interest here, the interest there, the time it takes to recoup the "deficit", but after 2 years, I've bitten the bullet and transferred most...

Re: Mr Cro Callin Mr Cro, How's the exchange rate for yeh?

Yeah I did that when we came over 2 years ago when the exchange went south from $2.50
At the time it made sense to leave the money in uk as I (naively) thought it was a temporary blip and would go...

Re: what is adelaide like

Is it maybe because one didn't have a choice initially on where to live in Oz, that a subconcious thought about living in the SA state is a negative one?

Re: what is adelaide like

That's rather unfair. One man's meat is another man's poison.
We are all different and have different needs and wants. It would be a rather boring place if we were all the same.
