I fly with United to and from the UK. I always pay for economy plus. It's not that much more but the 5 inches more legroom is worth it.
My husband is 6ft 6in and is always comfy now when we fly. ...

travelling with a 2 year old alone

I am thinking of going back to the Uk in May with my 2 year old but am worried about doing it on my own. Anyone done it and have a positive experience? Have done it 3 times with hubby just nervoues...

Shuttle launch

Has anybody been to a shuttle launch since living here. If so, is seeing it from the visitor complex worth it? I tried to get the good tickets but they sold out in 3 minutes!!

International drivers permit

Since moving to the USA i have traded in my UK license for a Georgia one. When I go back to the UK and rent a car i have been told I need an internationla drivers permit.

Has anyone else got one...

We used a Firm called Davies Turner. They come in and pack it all for you. Moved Portsmouth to Savannah and it took 6 weeks to get our things. I would highly recommend them. They come and do a survey...

Here is Georgia they insist that you cannot hold two licenses whether US or UK and take your UK one away from you no matter how much you protest. How can you not show any form of license as surely...
