unfortunately the 6kg dries out to about 3.5kg so by the time all the friends get a piece, usually lasts a week!
Don't forget the secret in the marinading of the meat for 24 hours before hanging.....

Here is my husband's biltong box. He made it himself, has a light and fan and the front is covered in mesh. He has the recipe down to perfection, and most people who try it prefer it to the SA...

we went down to Peppers resort at Kingscliffe for our 20th wedding anniversary 2 yrs ago.. Really nice break, lovely pool area to relax :thumbsup:.. and food was good too!

you can also use www.travelocity.co.uk website to book flights on. they charge you in pounds, and we use our uk funds to pay for flights when i book with them.

mine was also worked out pro rata. I started work in Sep 2007 and by the end of that tax year did not get the whole $6000 rebate, only 10/12 of it.

we flew with Air Asia, gold coast to Stansted, via KL.
then onto South Africa after a week with BA, then back to Brisbane with Qantas. To be honest, the service on the Air Asia flight was far better...
