POMS IN PARADISE

Did anyone see it tonight on ITV?
That was my life in the Gold Coast this time last year. If anyone wants one piece of advice give the move time and dont rush back to the UK like I did. Big mistake and full of regrets.

Poms in Paradise? Where the hell do they get their titles from? Reality tv has a lot to answer for in brainwashing the poor unsuspecting Jo Blow. Dont they realize that the GC is a bit of a joke for the bulk of Australians? Sort of along the lines of going to Blackpool for your holidays. (I know a lot of people live happily on the GC but the rest of Aus views them with some amusement - retirement villages, schoolies week and tourists!)
