Exactly. Yes it has been posted over there quite a few times and its hardly relevant posting it in a thread specifically about Queensland. Please dont allow yet another thread to become more about who people like or dislike instead of concentrating on the subject matter.
Better wait for the Queenlanders to come on board then. Probably out milking the cows.

Yes I think you can put in a city or town but if Queensland isnt relevant to a member it is hardly worth commenting really. I dont mean you Sparkles, I mean those who might find it necessary to troll.

Thanks Chris - I was just asking so those members who are considering moving to QLD have an idea of how vague they can be starting off. When I moved to SA I had an idea of suburbs as we had visited before - but didn't have a clue prior to that

No problem. I have read numerous posts from people asking for information about crime in particular areas, this seems to be a useful resource for those people.

My husband is an ex police officer- His comments regarding the crime map were that its very misleading. Crime statistics are a very debatable subject regarding how they are reported.
we looked at this site, and almost every property had an unlawful entry crime listed against the address- during october and november 2001- when the houses in our road were under construction. This is a common practice anywhere in the world, where it's easy pickings for would be thieves to break into houses under construction and help themselves. I wouldn't choose an area to live based on this alone.

No not really - that link is in the MBTTUK forum - where members looking to move / or move back look for info. This forum is for those looking to move to OZ so a link to crime stats in QLD is entirely relevant in this instance - there have been a number of threads looking for QLD info recently! But as the link doesn't need further explanation - and to prevent it being further disrailed - this thread is now closed
