I've just asked the dealer if they have Bpay, which has a limit of $20,000 a day and they will be getting back to me. He's actually offered to lend me a car for a couple of days if the worst comes...

Thanks all, it confirms what I thought, I am going to declare a couple of items, namely a 19" flat panel monitor and a DVD surround sound system neither of which I am prepared to pack in other boxes.

I'm just at the point of filling this form in, and it doesn't mention electrical goods, so I asked PSS for advice and just got this:

Its about 20 * 8 * 8, PSS reckoned it was about 1050 cubic feet by the time packing came into place. When you see them on the back of a lorry they don't look that big.

They didn't:

One of the references did not state full\part time and had to be redone, this was a simple oversight by the referee and I didn't spot it.

One of the references had the wrong year...

What they want is just proof that you have the experience required to fulfill thier criteria. You therefore should only need one reference for each of your two contracts covering the four...

I'm a contractor and got through OK, I asked a number of clients to do references for me, basically I wrote them, and they printed and signed them. I also got my accountant to do a reference...

You can't turn up in person, and the letter made no mention of a time limit for when we could send it, so I think it will be OK to leave it a few weeks.

The turnaround for us was about a week.

Visa Passport Stamp

Hi all,

For those of you with validated visas, did passport control stamp the actual visa itself? We have seperate stamps on different pages on the passport... I had booked ETAs before the visa...
