Hi Sebeva, I waited until I was asked, which was on the 7th, it took about a week to arrive,
I scanned and uploaded it on Friday and got the visa on Monday.

Hi brandyslad,
My understanding is that yes you have 52 weeks to apply, but you have to have been eligible (have pr) within 26 weeks.

Brandyslad: I'm pretty sure you have to actually have the PR, I am in the same situation, and we have just applied for PR on the 887, so we are counting down the days hoping that we will get it in...

DIAC give you a list of guidelines, suggested things to provide, but it doesnt specifically say any of them are mandatory, I just wanted to check.

Baby citizenship

I'm expecting a baby while still on a Temp Visa (496) so the baby doesn't automatically get citizenship ( it gets our visa ).
This means it will have to come on our perm visa (887) application with...

Unfortunately the place I went on Thursday, we had to wait an hour and a half to get food on the table at friday lunch time. We'd booked too. In the end we told them we were leaving if it wasn't on...

In the last few months we've seen coldplay, snow patrol, kylie and pink. Plus 4 or 5 other international acts.

Isn't there a four year wait for a visa to canada, there was when we were considering it a few years back. Depending on life plans, that could have a fairly big impact on the decision.

Hi Jase, its all down to personal choice really. We like the West side, but that puts us in a small minority.
Most head east, and you have the 40ks of suburbs to prove it.
