Thanks everyone! Decided to go with Westpac and yep, signed a letter of authority for pensions direct to get all details etc from pru and sort for us with Westpac - panic over!!!

We came over in may - I had some shells I had collected in Florida just in a carrier bag - I took them in hand luggage, they can just check then and their, obviously declare them - if they don't...

Yeah, we found the same as you. We validated in May 2007 but only went for 4weeks (not staying) so we couldn't get the extra baggage allowance. ITs a shame we can't get it when we move permanently...

Its sad, but who's territory is it? The sharks. if you don't wanna get bit, don't go in!! Also, the report does sayu it was probably a bull shark and not a great white, a common case of mistaken...

We recently had to get my husband new uk passport - like you visa was in the old one.

We emailed the australian embassy (you can email questions) and they replied back quite promptly...
