it appears that a 3 month visa is now expected if you apply in foreign countries but apart from the single entry exception AFAIK 6 month multiple entry visas are still the norm.

Like i have said before and as far back as three years ago......3 month tourist visas have been issued for years......if you are entering India for say 2-3 weeks and don't require a mutiple entry...

Lets face it most people semi-retire to India/Goa because its cheap living and hotter than the UK but when you factor in the poor...

Yeah, i was talking to one of the El Shaddai leaders recently and he told me that one thing they do is to get children in their care a copy of their birth certificate.

The Sai Bar and Rest in Arpora is excellant.
Great food and drink at local prices about half the price of other Arpora restaurants which are already about a third cheaper than most restaurants on...

There is a difference between NRI and PIO/OCI.
I am a PIO but not an NRI therefore my partner (FN) will be entitled to a PIO card after we are married for a year but like me she will not be classed...

We once applied through Dublin HCI and ticked single entry as we where only going for three weeks.........we ended up with a 3 month single entry visa and this was about 3 years ago. I was shocked...

As my two kids are indeed stepchildren (by definition of the law) they don't qualify for pio status (to the best of my knowledge).

Technically, any individual is entitled to receive, including by inheritance, property situated in India...

Unfortunately Drink,Mopeds,and No Helmets makes for a deadly combination....its very sad for the Robinson family.....the driver has been charged so it will be interesting to see what the penalty is...
