I think it was $65 for 5 years. I didn't quibble because only a few months
before you had to do a theory test aswell!!!!

We had our medicals and xrays done in York. The medicals were
done at a practice in Huntington (near Monks Cross shopping Centre)
and the xrays done at York District Hospital. Both places...

We were the same....completed and flew out 2 days later. Yes we changed our money when we got here and paid our bills from here aswell.

We brought our daughters car/booster seat with us. We just
checked it in and they put it in the hold. We are on the Gold Coast

Hi

Yes we still had to be in the catchment area. The area
where our rental is , is classed as Robina but is just up
the road from Varsity College. I agree with the other
post Robina primary...

Yes that's what you hear. I would just like to know the reality of it
all, and not get there and find we have put ourselves in a dodgy
financial position.

It makes me worried as he would need to start work asap.
We will have the money from the house and savings but that really
should be to buy a new house/cars etc not just day to day living...

I have read that lots of trades need a license before they can even start working, even though they passed the TRA. Does this apply to carpenters/joiners? Could my husband start work straight away? ...
