I have to...

Why dont expats who are content to bitch and moan about their new country simply pack up and move back to England?

It's one thing to have a grump every now and again.

It's another to constantly...

Re: OH close to pulling out of move to NZ!

My OH didn't.

I was xtremely unhappy in England. She wasn't. I felt trapped....

Re: do you miss fellow brits??

I agree with Genesis, not every brit is Oscar wilde or John Cleese.

I haven't really had much success with kiwi's though, my few mates are Brits, South Africans, French, and Argentinian. *Snif*

What's so good about Australia?

I have booked a flight to Brisbane to have another look around. The first time I went last year it reminded me of any number of cities in NZ (but with more whites and a weird lack of Aboriginals) but...

The moment you set foot...

Re: pommie bashing does go on....im so mad

Yeah. I hate the English abroad. They are w**kers. Full of gobs***e, and a superior attitude, and generally causing s**t and mostly drunk.

Makes me ashamed to be a pom.

I prefered Sydney on the whole.

Brisbane sort of left me with really mixed feelings. After five days I felt I had...
