GTP offers training whilst teaching rather than a year of theory....how can you learn to teach reading a text book.....you don't learn to drive reading a book about it or planning....

My girlfriend qualified with GTP and we have also discovered that its not accepted in OZ...we have had meetings with WA Education in LOndon at an Expo and they all said the same thing....either...

Thank you. This is interesting as my girlfriend has QTS status but trained on GTP rather than PCGE route.

thanks for letting me know. Apparently people have been accepted to teach in Oz with a GTP, i'm tring to find out which states let them in. Its a case by case basis over there.
