Hi everybody,
Well, so far I've got my visa and have confirmed that WA will recognise my qualifications.
Now our house is on the market I looked into the paperwork again, and am getting very confused.
Can someone help?
Am I right in thinking that there is the form to apply to register, but before that you somehow need to get a number?
On the wacot website, under the 'forms' bit, the first one demands your ID number, so how do we go about getting that? What form do we send off FIRST?
Thanks!
Gemma

Hi everyone!
I'm new to these forums but have been teaching in the UK (primary) for 3 years now. Me and the O/H are planning to move to Perth in June 2007, we are awaiting the final notification from DIMA as our medicals and PCC were completed a few weeks back now.
There's so much information on how to apply to WACOT it's overwhelming! I look forward to talking to you lot on these forums though and hopefully managing to answer any questions when they arise.
Good luck to all and keep us posted on how applications go!

Hi everybody,
Thought I'd give everyone the update.
I downloaded the application to register from WACOT's website. THis should not be confused with the application to teach form from the Department of Education's website.
Anyway, I got a teacher friend to certify them (you just write the given sentence, sign, date, occupation).
I left the criminal records bit blank and the declaration blank as these seem to have to signed in Australia.
Despite me emailing them with specific questions I received belated brief answers that didn't address my queries, so I went ahead and posted it.
They've now taken my money and I've received a receipt, so I presume I've now done everything I can until I arrive. Hope this helps.....
