When can Primary teacher apply

When can Primary teacher apply
Hi
My wife will qualify as a Primary Teacher in July this year once her PGCE is complete. Am I right in thinking she needs 12 months experience working full time (30hrs a week) to enable her to apply for a skilled visa to go to Australia?
Can anyone who's been through this offer any tips?

Sorry, just looked at my NOOSR skills certificate.Yes your right - must be one year of full time service to gain NOOSR.

My girlfriend has GTP qualification in UK and we want to Emigrate to OZ. I have permanent residency. Does anyone know if she can teach with this qualification ?. Apparently if varies state to state and some people have got in...anyone know of anyone would be great

Look for link to relevant assessing authority in state you intend of living in. As far as I'm aware for skills assessment GTP is no good, have no idea if employers will accept it, probabaly not without a skills assessment. Let us know the outcome....
