Perhaps if you regularly attend a church they may provide advice. There maybe other charitable groups to offer you advice. At least you appear to be able to access the internet.

I would take shirts/T shirts. A light cardigan/jumper and a Jacket. Trousers and shorts. Do bring a woolly hat to cover all eventualities. The other posters are just being envious.

That is all fine and good. The problems begin after applying and paying for the passport. I had to collate all the required proofs of I.D. for myself and parents, which took a good bit of time given...
