Don't forget it has to be an approved doctor on their list. Take a look at form 26 (medical) and 160 (x-ray) which gives you more information about the medicals. As far as I know kids can have...

Yeah, pretty much the same paperwork, just more of it. We needed Oz police checks (if you're in Australia for 12 months or more once visa is granted)
Medicals were easier to get in Oz (more choice...

Wow, lucky you!!

Took us just under a year from employer starting the sponsorship process to obtaining PR (856)

Would have been quicker if it wasn't for a house move, very slow police checks...

From the 856 application form (which we've just gone through) - it states the supporting documents (including medicals) need to be enclosed with the application. Don't forget that the doctor doing...

If you do hand-fill them, make sure that you scan and keep a copy for reference.

When we did our meds, I put down 'student' for my daughter, and was asked to qualify that - i.e. what kind of student (uni, school etc.)

first thing we bought was a water filter for the fridge. Our current rented property has a built-in water filter fed from the cold tap in the kitchen. Way cheaper than bottled water.

My daughter is at Kelvin Grove State High, and lets just say the education level is below UK standards.

You need to live in the catchment area for the school...
