Aussie Wiring Rules - Peer Course

Hi

Anyone want to buy the complete set of wiring regs books that i used for my peer course. These normally cost around $350. I will sell for half price. I am located on the Gold Coast.

Thanks Wendy. Will look into this more. Just read couple of posts on diff sites where people have been refused transfer to qld from sa licence. Most employers up here want qld licence.

I see a few jobs in seek but I never get to interview stage with any that I apply for. A bit disheartening as I never had a problem finding work in uk. Hope things change after Xmas.

Sa licence finally arrived 2 days ago. Just read posts about qld refusing to issue new licence. What is the next step. Can I convert licence online or do I have to go to Brisbane?

You'll be fine Jockstar. As Wendy said, guys at peer really helpful and easy going. All sparks on my course stayed 3 days but i only stayed 2. I left some questions blank in workbook as i couldn't...

Got same letter from peer. Stayed home for four weeks and worked thru rest of workbook. Sat exam last week and passed. Waiting for licence in post now. Exam not bad. Guy at peer really helpful and...

Yeah, coming to Adelaide. Left a couple of messages at peer but no reply yet. Can't fly down until i complete workbook, which is taking too long. Money starting to run out.

Wireless Broadband in Pac Pines

Hi all.

Has anyone tried Vodafone wireless broadband in Pac pines?

I've tied Optus but got dial speed due to no 3g coverage in this area. I'm now on Big pond but paying a fortune for 3gb limit....
