Best for cheese and salami/ham type meets and obviously Italian food by far is Bosa Foods. Big store is at Boundary and 1st and original on Victoria Drive.

I commuted to Burnaby for 2 years (Boundary & First) and heading East on the Second Narrows is fine as you are against the flow of traffic. I would avoid Lions Gate however!

I could not recommend this practice enough - best dentist we have ever had. Focus is patient care and they are also up with current technologies.

The missus did this and this is what I can remember....

She had a PGCE and 3 years of teaching experience in the UK.
The process took a long time - 9 or so months I seem to recall.

We flagpoled at Point Roberts (Tswassen). I would recommend this border post as it will be a lot quieter than Peace Arch.

So we ant to start watching BBC iPlayer etc and looking through an old thread using a VPN service seemed the best method. Anyone here ding this and able to recommend a provider and the costs?

Apart from Cypress/Grouse/Seymour in Vancouver there is Washington on Vancouver Island. Otherwise everything else is East and a reasonable drive away. In my opinion for the time you are over stay in...

We originally came over last year as tourists. At immigration we had our return flights (6 months later) & copies of funds to support ourselves. This (in our case) was sufficient for a 6 month entry...

The dentists I had in the UK were shocking. I had little choice where to go when moving and then I was literally butchered - botched root canals and poorly fitted crowns.

That's pretty good for us. Should get our passports back from London in the next week and even though the US Border is not that far from North Van we would prefer not to flagpole. :thumbup:

As we will be flying to LA will probably bring back a few items, jackets etc. Some of the stuff is made in the US so I assume via NAFTA these would be exempt anyway?

True (generally favour Pacific Boarder) but some of the Burton stuff I am after is up to 20% cheaper in the US and there is a full on Burton store in LA.
