Ok, but I think that is to do with the british not looking after their teeth as oppose to the dentists not being up to the job!!
You speak for yourself, i've always looked after my teeth and gone to my Dentist regularly in the UK.
In britain people only do the minimal due to them on the NHS whereas in the US they expect to pay.
My first visit to a Canadian Dentist, 6 months after my UK one, and i'm told ALL my fillings need replacing
mmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why? wouldn't be anything to do with the nice fat cheque they'd get off the Insurance company would it? after all the Brits are renound for having bad teeth 
The sooner britain goes private the better to all teeth!!

Give me an NHS dentist anyday after all they don't waste time and money on unnecessary treatment.
I've tried 2 dentist here in 2 years and they both want to replace all my UK fillings with nice white ones, just for the sake of it. As i'm a dental-phobe i will not be returning to either of them for treatment.
