I agree with you totally. We spent 7 months in BC and with enormous amount of effort it didn't work for us. We didn't sell our place in London, which made our lives so much easier coming back.

I've read that new immigrants have to pay a 35% deposit on a property. Does anyone know how long this applies? We're coming over as PR (Skilled Workers).
