Non of the employers were contacted by cic when i had applied for my PR. I suppose, they do contact if they find anything suspicious.

you have to take general training usually. But i think acadamic is acceptable.

as you have 7.5 for listening, reading and writing you will get 4 points each for them. but for speaking you have 6.5...
