Re: Finding a place to live

As per any weather, you get used to it. After months away, SW and Perth would be too cold for me. I used to complain humidity down south during February but nothing like Kimberley. Apples and oranges...

Re: Me and My Family

For about 5 years I’ve followed your journey, constantly been shot down by you for doubting her agenda, for questioning you putting her before your children. I’ve dipped in, proven right, just to ask...

Re: Freedom of Information/Data protection/getting info

I wanted not to answer as per your previous attacks towards my replies. But I have to say. As said before, I lost my sister to the drink and so far you’ve followed every step she unfortunately took...

Re: Seeking site engineer job - Brisbane

Sorry to say the limitations of WHV means you usually end up doing fruit picking and farm work, nowadays hard to get a highly professional job on that visa with so many newly and locally qualified...

Re: Wife left / visa/support position / legal / where do I stand?

since you mentioned me, I don’t doubt you as a father at all, but since you bared all, you must admit you were the room mate, and as I suspected that would never end up well. I wish you well, truly,...

Re: Wife left / visa/support position / legal / where do I stand?

I’m probably getting shot down by this, but let’s get this right. So your (soon to be ex wife) has been the bread winner whilst you turned to alcohol? You then became a room mate the wife couldn’t...

Re: Perth - accommodation

Understood, however in current economical climate, that’s a pipe dream by many on WHVs. Plenty of local people, with local contacts, who’ve spent years in mines earning big bucks, only to see end of...

Re: Perth - accommodation

i get what you’re saying, and that’s what skilled migration is for. WHV is to help rural areas to gain workers, they don’t care about your degree, they rely on young travelers to help with work....

Re: Advice/sympathy/slap in the head - all welcome (long/heavy post)

I couldn’t agree more. I lost my sister 12 weeks ago to alcohol, at age 53, she was in denial until kidneys and liver failed and despite her best efforts it was too late. She gave the same excuse....
