Hi all ,we are just trying to work on getting my wifes brother over to aus permantly hes 55 years old and has a disability.his mum has passed who he lives with ,hes now alone, but were hoping to look after him here in perth, and be his carers here.
from what ive searched on immigov site, there is a visa if someone comes over to care for you here, but not sure theres one thats the other way around?

More knowledgeable people will come along but I’m leaning towards I’m afraid not. Even if he qualified as last remaining relative, you’d been looking at years to gain a visa. Disabilities are usually a instant stop for a visa application on health grounds unfortunately.

Not likely. In any case you would be well advised to talk to an agent who specializes in medical conditions - George Lombard and Peter Bollard are two usually mentioned in this regard but I'd say his chances were close to zero. If he's in UK then social services can step in with guardianship and perhaps supported accommodation
