For us even though we love UK and visiting Europe, Singapore is so much easier to live in.
Yes medical is free in UK and we don't have Medical insurance here in Singapore but we find that not to be...

If your wife is Singaporean isn't she a citizen or now somehow a PR.
If she is still a citizen then you can move to Singapore and get your own PR.
You know of course about accom costs here and cost...

I don't remember having to submit my Birth Cert but that was a long time ago.

Since retirement we've been splitting our time between UK and Singapore.
We own property in both countries but have decided to sell up the UK property and move to Singapore full time.

So although my pension is currently paid into my UK bank account I will shortly sell my UK property and close my UK bank account, and not have a UK address.

We've been in Singapore for work and retirement for nearly 40 years.
I can't remember SARS or Bird Flu, maybe we were in UK at those times but just can't remember it.

Must be additional 30min into centre of Malacca and 20 mins min to get to Singapore side of Tuas if no jam. Further 25 min to centre of Singapore.

Left Clementi at 9-45am arrived Bukit Indah1.25 hours later.

Funnily enough today we went across to JB from Clementi.

Left at 9-45am by MRT to Kranji and then bus 170 from Kranji to City Square. 1.5 hrs.

Then at 2-30pm did return journey. 2.0 hrs or...

Google maps says 70 min Changi to Horizon Hill with no waiting at either immigration.
I've never ever not had to wait at immigration.

Personally I'd give it 1.5 hours even at dead of night.

Travel time from Changi to JB and return may well make you think twice.

Try it and see.
atm only a taxi or hired car with a driver.
OK you could take MRT to Newton Circus and 170 bus from there...

Uoiu should check out what rental costs are and how much you might pay for pre schooling.

Doubt if you'd be able to buy or run a car though.
