thanks louise. i dont know, it's changed from when we got ours. it's changed from 'being processed' to 'processed' apparantly, and the agent has asked for form 80 to be sent again.

we have them here in NSW. i couldnt wait for our local one to open, as the one we used to go to, by the time fuel was taken into in, didnt really work out as cheaper (unless you were passing).

sorry cant help you with your post, i *think* they can come over on a tourist visa. several 143 visa applicants have 'finished off' their visa whilst in Australia, and gone...

mmm, that's what i think as well. it will just be a case of getting all relevant paperwork off the consultant (or as much as they can). my S-I-L is just worried incase it can be a visa refusal on...

it's not life long, just a problem with a childs hearing (mastoid, grommits, ENT specialist - that sort of thing)
