Potted history - we left the UK in 1999 to live in Germany - went to live in Australia in 2008 but it did not work out and we were back in Germany within 12 months.

Well that's one way to look at it - on the other hand I will be 46 this year which give me 9 years to retirement - no way do I still want to be working when I am 65. Sorry, I know off topic.

Of couse what you really want is someone to tell you its absolutely the right thing to do....only you can know that. However, were you to stay put for three years then not onmly might the house...
