Allied Pickfords told us, and I think I was told about it elsewhere. It's only lawnmowers nothing else.

I was told it was only for lawnmowers and the like. Every blade of grass and dirt had to be removed and certificate issued stating sterilised and no termites. Garden furniture only had to be cleaned....

Apparently the cost of getting the certificate is more than the cost of buying a new lawnmower!!!!!

Yep, but have you worked out any figures of what we need to pay in?

I have 16 years service and am 37, leaving me 22 years to pay into their scheme.

What can I expect after 22 years subcription...

Two Labs, ouch indeed.

I'm not sure that covers Vets this end, kennels for a month in Melborne and transport on to Adelaide.

Re Transporting Pets

This is different to obtaining a Pet Passport. These relate to exit and re entry in to the UK.

You need to contact DAF on 01823 337922.

They will send you an information...

Is that 200 officers locally and overseas over 2 years OR 200 UK officers?

The SAPOL Annual review states 200 officers over two years.

Does anyone know how often SAPOL runs a "locals" course? ...

I was one of Fridays Zombies.

From what I picked up is that SAPOL are unable to fill their February intake with "local" officers. This is the first course after the Aussie school year.
