We arrive on 31st July 2006 on a 457 visa. PR was granted on 3rd July 2007. I know we have to wait 4 years before we can apply for citizenship but does that include our year of temporary residence...

Hi

Wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Came to Australia at the end of July 2006 on a 457 visa. Got PR on 3rd July 2007. When will we be able to apply for citizenship?

Thanks for that. My wages are above 45k so should be fine. Also got last 2 years tax returns and keep all payslips. Need to hook out passport and birth certificate but seems I have everything...

Sorry, a couple more things.

Do I need to get my husbands stuff up together as well? Do they need to see that as well?

Is there a minimum wage that they take into account?

Hubby is kicking himself that he didn't bring the range rover as well.

Would have been well worth it for the price we got in UK.

Following the phone call from immigrations, I received an email explaining what to do. We posted our passports to Perth (with a copy of the email) and they posted them back.

Your VAC is determined by your lodgement date, so no need to take any notice of the current rates

Does this mean to say that the VAC payment is going up?
