Thanks for both of your replies.

Yes, we are fully aware of the 45 years old rule, but I'm pretty sure there are exceptions. Does anyone know what those exceptions are? I have looked on the DIAC...

She is over here to do the paperwork for the visa and then moves back overseas once the visa arrives,...

My friend is applying for a 457 visa.

He's got all the relevant information, his partner has now joined him in Australia to be able to be added to the application but they have just split up.
