there are a few expos this month around the country
are they worth it and would it help any state sponsorships.
im a qualified chef and also a pub manager although 40 i can only get 100 points
what are peoples experiences at these places

They have been discussed on here loads of times and consensus is they are pretty hopeless unless you are in the medical profession.

We went to one at the start of our process and the only thing I got out of it was a new pen.

If you really feel you want to go, please don't take your children. I felt so sorry for the little kiddies that had been brought along, the places are overcrowded, overheated and if you want to speak to anyone expect a long queue and a long wait.

I'd have to agree, I thought the one I went to was a waste of time, glad it didn't cost anything.

The Sandown expo is pretty good as there are lots of financial stands/removers/some migration agents etc. Went to one in Earls Court a few years ago and that was useless. As Bermudashorts said, unless you're either in the medical profession/mining/engineering don't bother going if it's purely to get contacts for sponsorship.

Also found the same with the expo that happens at Australia House once a year. That was utterly useless.
